    Examination, diagnosis including X-rays when needed, preventive advice, and clinically necessary preventive care such as a scale and polish or fluoride varnish.

  • Band 2

    Band 1 care plus further clinically necessary treatment such as fillings, root-canal treatment or removing teeth.

  • Band 3

    £332.10

    Band 1 and Band 2 care plus more complex clinically necessary treatment such as crowns, dentures or bridges.

  • Urgent NHS dental treatment

    The Band 1 urgent charge applies where the course meets the NHS urgent-treatment rules.

Urgent and out-of-hours care

NHS urgent access is available through this practice using the instructions below.

Patients needing urgent NHS dental care should call 270 Dental on 01207 502672 during our opening hours. A member of the dental team will assess your symptoms and, where clinically appropriate, offer an urgent appointment subject to available capacity. Appointments must be arranged in advance; we do not guarantee appointments or operate a walk-in service. Outside our opening hours, or when we cannot provide an appropriate appointment, contact NHS 111 online or call 111. Call 999 or attend A&E for a serious injury to the face or jaw, bleeding that will not stop, or severe swelling affecting breathing or the eyes.

Practice emergency instructions

If you have a dental emergency during opening hours, please call us as early as possible. We will assess your symptoms and advise you on the most appropriate next step. If the practice is closed and you need urgent dental care, contact NHS 111 for advice or use NHS 111 online. NHS 111 can advise you on urgent dental services available in your area. Call 999 or go to A&E immediately if you have severe facial swelling affecting breathing, swallowing or speaking, uncontrolled bleeding, a serious injury to the face or mouth, or symptoms that may indicate a serious infection or medical emergency. Please do not attend the practice without an appointment for urgent care unless we have advised you to do so.

Call 999 or go to A&E for a serious injury to your face or jaw, bleeding from your mouth that will not stop, or severe swelling of your mouth, lips, throat or neck that affects breathing or opening an eye. If you are unsure what to do, contact NHS 111.
