About this treatment
Dental crowns and bridges are fixed restorations designed to improve the strength, function and appearance of selected teeth. A crown fits over a prepared tooth and may be recommended when a tooth has been weakened, heavily filled, damaged or treated with root canal therapy. A dental bridge can replace one or more missing teeth by supporting an artificial tooth from neighbouring teeth or another suitable foundation.
